So its my Mom's Birthday today and of course Mother's day!! Its kind of sad knowing that I am 2200 miles away from my mom on her special day!! I really wish I could be home, to be able to get her any gift no matter what it is, and not worrying about how much or if it will be able to ship home. And celebrate with everyone!
I miss being able to just drive over to my parents house whenever i want too. Instead, I just get a phone call. I will honestly admit that besides not having my husband here every single day, the 2ND hardest thing about being an army wife is being away from everyone you love, and everything that is "normal" to me. I never would have thought that Jason would have been deployed so early in his career and as soon as we moved away.. Things just have been hard without anyone who I am extremely close too..
Anyways...back tracked there.. Happpy Birthday Momma and Happy Mother's Day! I love you and miss you!
Other then that, today was a productive day! :) I got most my cleaning done, scrubbed my kitchen & bathroom floors, and Vacumed up the mess in my living room and cleaned my room. And got groceries!
And the rest the night Kathleen and I watched the 3rd season of Army wives, scrapbooked alittle, and had some sloppy joes!! It was a good and relaxing night...now I'm just waiting for the hubby to call and the night will be complete! :)
